Dear Members and Friends of International Forum for
Social Innovation (IFSI),
It is with conviction that I accept the role of
President of IFSI, and I am grateful to you for
electing me.
I engage myself together with David Gutmann, Executive
Vice President, and the Board, to fulfil this association, and carry,
accompany, and encourage the activities in progress and yet to come from IFSI.
My desire is for the International Forum of Social
innovation to be anchored in today’s reality, and to anticipate human and
social problematics, while continuing to offer its
members new spaces for learning to work with them.
Our heritage comes from the school of "group
relations" and our work with authority and leadership. With the passing of
time, putting together our know-how, and meeting the expectations of our
members, we have made evolved this work - under the impulse of David Gutmann –
while also integrating the political dimension of Institutional Transformation.
One source of pride for IFSI is to have known how to
respond to the needs of the industrial world, while helping develop the
formation of its managers, and moreover on an international stage.
Today our association represents more than 200
members, who trust us and manifest their confidence regularly.
But what I would like from you is that you make known,
recognize and share the training that is yours. Without your generous support,
we risk becoming a closed circle of insiders, exposed to criticism from those
who suppose that they have no access to our work.
Today we are a source and a place for reference, observation,
imitation, and occasional contest, but we note with joy that those whom we
trained, either in the setting of Leading Consultation, or within the staffs of
our conferences, are asked more and more by other associations or fellow
institutions or competitors, everywhere in the world.
Now, the fourth F.L.A.M.
conference, "Femininity, Leadership, Authority, Masculinity ", has
taken place, and demonstrated, once again, its strength, our strength.
As the initiator and inspirer of this conference, I
also keep the flame for all that we are able to build together, to go even
farther and deeper.
Wishing us all a shared adventure constantly renewed.
